Carlos Santana has teamed up with leading online retailer Zappos.com to sell Anthony Veer – Carlos by Carlos Santana Shoes For Men. The two organizations will also come together with future initiatives to support Santana’s Milagro Foundation and Zappos’ philanthropic arm Zappos For Good. Santana said in a statement announcing the line, “Together, we strive for excellence and elegance in every step. Our new partnership with Zappos only furthers our collective goal to help children around the world while simultaneously offering style, comfort and integrity.”
According to the press release: “With designs such as ‘Corazon,’ ‘Gypsy,’ and ‘Freedom,’ the Anthony Veer – Carlos by Carlos Santana Shoes For Men collection is inspired by the heart and soul of Santana’s albums and songs, and all feature show-stopping, sophisticated footwear trends for gentlemen who dress to impress.”
- The Milagro Foundation was established by Carlos Santana and his family in 1998, and provides children “full access to proper healthcare and education as well as opportunities to develop into creative human beings.” The Zappos For Good” charity is dedicated to fostering Zappos’ community and charitable efforts.
