Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus Announces His New Memoir, ‘Fahrenheit-182’
Blink-182 bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus has announced that his new memoir, Fahrenheit-182, will be released on April 8, 2025. The book was co-authored by Dan Ozzi, and according to the press release, “This is a story of what happens when an angst-ridden kid who grew up in the desert experiences his parents’ bitter divorce, moves around the country, switches identities from dork to goth to skate punk, and eventually meets his best friend who just so happens to be his musical soulmate.”
Ozzi says that the book, “Doubles as the definitive history of blink, seeing as how Mark is, as he once put it to me, the only person on earth who has been to all of their shows.” Hoppus also shared a humorous promotional video in an Instagram post on Monday (September 16), where the cancer survivor jokes, “Pre-order now and we’ll throw in with no extra cost to you: Anxiety! Depression! Band breakups! And of course everyone’s favorite: cancer! This sh*t gets dark.” (Consequence of Sound)
