Over the weekend, Pearl Jam played their first show following an illness that forced the band to cancel three shows. During PJ’s encore in Barcelona on Saturday, frontman Eddie Vedder opened up about how sick he really was. “Can I just say that the last week, it almost felt like a near-death experience,” Vedder revealed. “It was very uncomfortable, and it got frightening. It felt like maybe you couldn’t breathe, and maybe you wouldn’t make it through the night, and maybe you’d have to go to the hospital. You just realize how precious this life is. It was a poignant experience. I won’t be forgetting it anytime soon. And we won’t be forgetting tonight anytime soon.” (Consequence of Sound)

During a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, a fan posed the question of who Ozzy would pick for his dream band. Ozzy wasted no time listing off several rock legends that would make up his dream lineup. “I’d have John Lennon, Paul McCartney, me, Jimi Hendrix,” stated the Black Sabbath vocalist. When his wife Sharon reminded him that he didn’t choose a drummer, Ozzy eventually answered, “Tommy Clufetos,” who played with Sabbath on their 2012 reunion tour and on Ozzy’s solo tours. His choices earned approval from Sharon and son Jack, who responded, “That’d be quite the gig.” (Loudwire)
