Which States Have a Higher-Than-Average Tolerance for Spice?

A recent survey asked which states are known for their spicy cuisine. Louisiana came out on top, followed by Texas, New Mexico, California, and Arizona. They also wanted to know what states seem to have a higher-than-average tolerance for spicy foods. The results were similar, with New Mexico at the top of the list, followed by Louisiana and Texas.
