A new study out of the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada found that yes, you CAN fool someone who lies and distorts the truth. In fact . . . they’re the EASIEST people to fool. The researchers say it’s because people who lie THINK they understand the world so well that anything that, quote, “simply sounds profound, truthful, or accurate to them means it really is.” Even when it’s not.
