Jackson Browne Announces First 2018 U.S. Tour Dates

Jackson Browne has just announced his first U.S. dates for 2018. Following his seven-date Australian tour, Browne will hit Hawaii for two shows — April 6th at Honolulu’s Waikiki Shell and April 8th at Kahului’s Castle Theater. After that he’ll embark on an 11-date East Coast run, which kicks off on May 2nd at Richmond, Virginia’s Altria Theater and, as of now, wraps on May 20th in Westbury, New York at NYCB Theatre at Westbury.

Jackson Browne told us that the composers that grew out of Southern California’s early-’70s singer-songwriter era were a melting pot for all that came before them: [“We were the product of a love of music and really a kind of genesis of popular song. I mean, we were the direct recipients of the Beatles and Bob Dylan — and the (Rolling) Stones. And this country’s rediscovering of its folk music and blues, and the personal stories and the music that was made by the people who built this country.”] SOUNDCUE (:20 OC: . . . built this country)
