A new dream job is opening up that pays $28,000 a year for basically no work. BUT there are a few major catches. You’d have to move to Sweden, you wouldn’t be allowed to have a side-gig, so you’d have to survive on $28,000 a year, and the job doesn’t start until 2026. The actual job description is to clock in at a train station each morning (which turns the lights on), then you have to clock out at the end of the day. Other than that, you can do whatever you want, and you don’t have to stay there all day. The job will be guaranteed for as long as you want it, you’ll get vacation time, an annual 3% pay bump, a retirement plan, and you can quit whenever you want. It’s called the “Eternal Employment” project and since the train station isn’t expected to open until 2026, they won’t be accepting applications until 2025 . . . but it’s never to early to start working on the old resume.
