You may have heard about this guy a few years ago, but he’s trending again. In 2005, Dale Schroeder passed away at age 86, and he used his $3 MILLION life savings to send 33 kids to college. Dale grew up poor, never married, and worked as a carpenter for 67 years, and managed to squirrel away a LOT of money. Since he never got to go to college, he wanted to help other kids go. His only ask was that they pay it forward someday.
