Blind Basketball Player Got One Shot All Year and Drained It

Here’s another “Good News Story” to head into the weekend with . . . there’s a kid in Iowa named Clay Warner who’s legally blind, and he’s kind of an honorary member of his high school basketball team. Last Friday was “Senior Night” at his school, and his coach wanted to get him into the game. Clay got his chance, AND made the most of it! He got into a game for the first time all year . . . took one shot . . . and drained it from 15 feet. Obviously everyone went nuts, even the players on the other team were clapping for him. One of his teammates said the only part of the night that truly mattered was Clay hitting that shot.
