I gotta believe many a stupid criminal story has begun with “hold my beer”. Add to it the temptation to go fast, and you certainly understand how THIS might happen . . . two engineers who were working on the 2020 Chevy C8 Corvette Stingray at a GM plant in Kentucky took the prototypes out last Wednesday night . . . and street raced them. The cops caught them, and both guys were arrested for doing over 100 miles-an-hour in a 45 mph zone, and they said they smelled alcohol on both of them at the time, too. Here are their mug shots, and a picture of the car (the guy on the left looks like he enjoyed himself). The price tag of the new 2020 Stingray start at $60,000.
