Peak Procrastination Day and Time

A new study asked people when they procrastinate the most. And apparently, they got specific answers (other than just “ALL THE TIME” . . . hey . . . I’m not judgin’). After analyzing the responses, they determined that PEAK PROCRASTINATION hits at . . . 12:06pm on Mondays. So it sounds like people get to work on Mondays, shake off the cobwebs, work for a few hours, and then are basically OVER IT by lunchtime. Overall, 71% of Americans admit to procrastinating (apparently the other 29% are actively procrastinating answering the question). The study also asked people what they usually find themselves doing while procrastinating, and the top responses were . . .

Watching TV,

Scrolling through social media,

Taking a nap,

Visiting with family and friends,

Grabbing a bite to eat,

“Doing nothing”,

Going for a walk,

And going shopping.
