I don’t think they take these kind of donations at Goodwill.
Goodwill employees found a human skull with a fake eye in a donation box in Goodyear, Arizona.
The skull was taken to a medical examiner’s office and was determined to be of “historic origin”, with “no forensic significance, meaning there appears to be no associated crime.”
An unknown donor decided to clean out the skeletons — or at least a portion of a skeleton — from a closet, prompting a police investigation in Goodyear.
Goodwill staff followed company protocol by immediately reporting the donation to Goodyear police and continue to cooperate with the police investigation, according to a spokesperson for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona.
The skull’s fate is unknown at this time.
