Here’s hoping you CAN teach an old dog new tricks . . . After all these years, you’re most likely pouring your beer the wrong way! Pouring your beer with as little foam as possible isn’t actually the right way to do it. It actually makes you more bloated, because there’s more CO2 still trapped in the liquid. So ideally, your glass should be about two-thirds liquid, and one-third foam. It’s especially important if you’re also eating, because when the food hits your stomach, it reacts with the beer and releases even more CO2.
