22 states raised their minimum wage rate on January 1st, impacting nearly 10 million US workers.

New York, California, and Washington have raised their minimum to $15 while 19 other states have increased theirs to $16. Ohio $10.45 and Michigan $10.33 Ohio and Michigan are the lowest Minimum Wage.

Workers will see $6.95 billion in additional wages due to the increases.
