A “Good News” Story

Here’s a Tuesday morning “Good News Story”. . . an 81-year-old waitress in Pittsburgh can finally retire thanks to a video posted by a random customer last week. Tamie Koznier took her son to a Pittsburgh restaraunt, and heard the waitress tell someone she couldn’t afford to retire yet. Tamie posted a clip and said, “If I can make any video go viral, I hope it’s this one.” Then she ended with, “Okay, TikTok. Do your thing,” and people delivered. She shared a GoFundMe link, and as of this morning, people had donated over $330,175!! She called the waitress to tell her after it hit 100 grand in a single day.
