Nothing Better Than A 7-Hour Road Trip With The Kids!

Are you planning a “family road trip” this summer? On second thought, maybe just leave your toddler at home with an open bag of dog food . . . they’ll be FINE. A new poll asked parents what the WORST age is, when it comes to traveling, and the average answer was three-and-a-half years old (that answer actually gave me a shiver). It’s the worst age because they’re old enough to get bored easily, but not old enough to enjoy the GOOD things about traveling yet. The average parent said the max they’d drive with a kid in the car is seven hours. And if you have multiple kids in the car, get ready for a NOISY drive. In those seven hours, you’ll listen to 18 sibling fights, deal with 14 mini tantrums, and hear 22 “are-we-there-yets”.
