Apple’s iOS 26 Will Automatically Pause Face Time If Nudity Is Detected

Beta testers of Apple’s new iOS 26 software have noticed a privacy add-on. 

The Face Time app will pause video streaming if it detects nudity. 

Once the screen is blurred, a message will say, “Audio and video are paused because you may be showing something sensitive. If you feel uncomfortable, you should end the call.”

The setting can be toggled on or off in Apple’s Sensitive Content Warning section of iPhones and iPads. 

The feature is only in Beta mode. It’s not known if the censoring will be a part of the final iOS 26 release later this year.
