Happy National Cheeseburger Day! There’s a list online of “the strangest burger toppings people have had, that somehow worked.” Here are some of the more unique entries . . .

  1. Fennel, Brie cheese, fig jam, and bacon . . . all together.
  2. Peanut sauce and pickled ginger.
  3. Fried mac and cheese, instead of normal cheese.
  4. Kimchi.
  5. Banana.
  6. Marshmallow fluff and chili sauce.
  7. A slice of ham so a TRUE HAM-burger . . . this one actually sound alright)
  8. Hot dogs . . . as a burger topping.
  9. Gummy bears.

By the way, 82% of Americans like cheeseburgers. 66% of people like them topped with American cheese, with cheddar being a close second. Swiss is our third favorite, followed by pepper jack and provolone.
