Classic Rock Albums Still In The Billboard 200

About 10% of the current Billboard Top 200 ALBUM chart is made up of classic rock albums (18 out of 200 to be exact). A bunch of them are greatest hits albums (which I think is cheating just a little) but NOT all of them. Ultimate Classic Rock did the homework, and listed ALL 18. Here are the albums making it into the Billboard Top 100 Album chart . . .

#27. “Rumours”,  Fleetwood Mac  (1977):  650 weeks on the chart

#64. “Chronicle”,  Creedence Clearwater Revival  (1976):  763 weeks

#69. “Greatest Hits”,  Queen  (1981):  664 weeks

#83. “Nevermind”,  Nirvana  (1991):  739 weeks

#88. “Journey’s Greatest Hits”,  Journey  (1988):  874 weeks

#94. “Greatest Hits”,  Fleetwood Mac  (1998):  352 weeks

(You can see the rest of the albums on the list on the Ultimate Classic Rock website.)
