Get ready for hot lifeguards watching the beach! 

A reboot of the classic Baywatch television series is in the works. 

Fox Entertainment has greenlit 12 episodes for the 2026-27 television season. 

The new Baywatch promises a “hot new cast, adrenaline, romance, slo-mo spectacle, and the iconic red swimsuit.”

The original Baywatch aired for 11 seasons from 1989 to 2001 and featured David Hasselhoff, Carmen Electra, and Pamela Anderson.
