Rite-Aid Closes Final Stores

After filing for bankruptcy twice, Rite-Aid has closed the rest of its remaining 1,200 stores.
After being unable to find a buyer to offload $4 billion in debt, the company wrote over the weekend, “All Rite Aid stores have now closed. We thank our loyal customers for their many years of support.”
Founded in 1962, there were once 5,000 Rite-Aid locations at the company’s peak.
