People Think Pets Enjoy Wearing Halloween Costumes

A new poll found one in six Americans are delusional . . . at least when it comes to what our pets think of Halloween. The poll didn’t distinguish between cats and dogs. but obviously dogs are a tad more receptive (your cat just can’t seem to grasp how cute it looks as a bumble bee).

16% think pets like or LOVE dressing up . . .

24% think they’re more ‘meh’ about it . . .

45% said they definitely DON’T like it . . .

And 15% said “not sure.”

Around a third of Americans have dressed up a pet before, or plan to this year. And social media shoulders a lot of the blame. I can safely say our dog is not a fan of costumes. A couple years ago my wife bought Theo a couple of Hawaiian shirts, and by the looks of this picture, he was NOT having it (or he’s giving us his best Clint Eastwood look).
