2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions
Bad Company, the White Stripes, Soundgarden and more were officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Saturday night. Soundgarden was inducted by Jim Carrey (who was friends with the late Chris Cornell). Cornell’s daughter Toni did “Fell on Black Days”. Side note, Taylor Momsen, sang Rusty Cage with Soundgarden, she and Carrey starred together in “The Grinch” (she played Cindy Lou Who), and shared a mini reunion backstage). Bad Company was inducted by Mick Fleetwood. David Letterman inducted his friend Warren Zevon. Dave brought along a guitar Warren gave him before he died. The Killers then used it for their performance of “Lawyers, Guns and Money”. There were also tributes to Sly Stone and Brian Wilson, who both died this year. And Joe Cocker’s posthumous induction capped off the night, with an all-star rendition of “With a Little Help from My Friends”.
