I May Have To Change My Mind about This Guy . . .

I didn’t want to like Glenn Powell at first. I thought of him as a “pretty buy”. Didn’t really take him serious, but more and more I’m starting to like the guy. A lot has to do with stories like this. Powell had a pretty good weekend, his remake of “Running Man” came out Friday, and then Saturday he hosted Saturday Night Live. He was supposed to host the show in 2021 for the release of “Top Gun: Maverick.” He got the news while sitting on his family’s front porch just as a UPS driver was there delivering a package. They were so excited, they all took a selfie together WITH the UPS driver! But then the movie release was delayed so his hosting gig was canceled. The family always joked that this UPS driver probably thought they were making up the story. FOUR YEARS LATER, Powell got the call to host this weekend. So his sisters called around and found the UPS driver, and Glenn flew him out to New York City, and brought him up on stage to recreate the selfie!
