A Pretty Heartwarming Good News Story

I know it’s Tuesday, and I usually reserve “Good News Stories” for Mondays, but here’s one that’s too good not to share (Plus it’s still close enough to Monday). People online have now donated almost $2 MILLION DOLLARS to help an 88-year-old in Michigan retire. Ed Bambas went viral last week, after a “positivity influencer” shared a video of him working at a grocery store. Ed lost his pension when G.M. went bankrupt, then his wife got sick and passed away, and he had to go back to work to try and pay off over $200,000 in medical debt. Over the weekend, he found out how much people donated, and you might wanna have some tissues ready. A reporter asked what he’d say to his wife if he could send her a message. He said he’d tell her, “Thank you, honey.”
