Here’s A Headline I Wasn’t Expecting . . .
The FDA tested samples of a honey made by a company called Akkarco, and found a drug called tadalafil (the active ingredient in CIALIS). Side effects include dizziness, headaches, and blood-pressure spikes (and flashbacks of being called up to the chalk board, at the same time you were thinking about Farrah Fawcett . . . okay, I can’t back that last one up). They say you probably wouldn’t confuse it with a normal jar of honey (like it’s not in one of those squeezable plastic bear bottles). It looks more like a medicine bottle, and says “Energy Support” on the front. All the bottles being recalled have an expiration date of October 2028. They were sold through the company’s website, but also through sites like Amazon. So if you drizzled this brand on your toast this morning, you might be in for an interesting day at the office.
