Monday Morning “Good News Stories”. . .

Billionaire Tom Kaplan just auctioned off a 400-year-old Rembrandt sketch called “Young Lion Resting” for $18 million. The proceeds appropriately enough are going to a wildlife conservation group called Panthera. They help protect lions, tigers, and other big cats. And a slightly smaller animal rounds out today’s G-N-S . . . authorities in Florida brought in an otter that help try to find a missing woman. His name is Splash, and he’s trained to find people in water. The good news is they didn’t end up needing his help, they found the woman without him, and she’s okay. But his handlers say he’s been involved in over 20 other searches, and found six missing people.
