Monday confusion: fully loaded.
🎤 Steve’s Heartburn for the Day: The Weekend Amnesia Effect
Every Monday, it happens.
You walk into work, someone asks how your weekend was… and your brain just locks up.
You know you did stuff.
There was food involved. Maybe a couch. Possibly yard work.
But suddenly you’re standing there like a buffering YouTube video trying to remember your own life.
“I… grilled? I think? There were chips. Definitely chips.”
Two whole days off and somehow we all come back like we got factory reset.
And don’t even act like you don’t do the fake recap:
“Yeah, just relaxed. Low-key weekend.”
Translation:
You have no idea what happened, but it felt productive at the time.
Honestly, Mondays shouldn’t start with meetings.
They should start with a loading screen and elevator music while we reboot.
