Scammers Posing As Members Of Sheriff’s Office

We’ve been made aware that there are scams going on lately with individuals posing as members of our agency, calling to advise they missed court or tell people they have a warrant or need to post bond on a family member or friend. They are offering to take money, bitcoin, or gift cards as payment to cover fees.

Please be advised this is NOT LEGITIMATE. We would never conduct ourselves in this way, nor would any law enforcement agency.

If you ever receive a call, text, or email stating something similar, stop communicating with them and contact our agency directly.
