A New Food Trend . . .
If you ask someone how they want their eggs, and they say, “FRAMBLED” . . . they aren’t just mumbling because they haven’t had their coffee yet. It’s one of the latest trends on TikTok (okay, this should be good). It’s a mash-up of fried eggs and scrambled eggs, and they’re fairly simple to make. You just melt some butter or oil into a nonstick skillet, over low heat, then crack the eggs directly into the pan, and use a spatula to gently break up the egg whites (not the yolks yet), and after a couple minutes, you can run the spatula through the yolks, and let the eggs set. They say they’re less annoying to make than fried eggs (annoying . . . fried eggs? . . . What??). They say Frambled Eggs are less dry than scrambled eggs, with a more of a yolky flavor. One of the first TikToks that went viral asked if they “invented something new.” Well like most things on TikTok they did NOT! I’ve been making eggs like this since 1963!
