Local Woman Attends Disability Policy Seminar In Washington, D.C.

(From Blanchard Valley Center)

Hancock County Self-Advocate Molly Dible took her voice to Washington D.C. where she attended the Disability Policy Seminar on behalf of Ohio’s DD Council.

Molly shared that they talked to legislators about financial constraints for both individuals and married couples, the importance of DD Council and the funding that they provide for agencies that provide services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Molly was excited to also get a personal tour of the U.S. Capitol.

Way to go Molly, advocacy in action indeed!
