The “Stickiest” Cities in America
If you think about the STICKIEST places, you might think of Mississippi, for those hot, muggy summers. Or New York City, with all the chewed gum and other gunk on the sidewalks. A moving website called “MoveBuddha” (great name) put out a list of the “stickiest cities in America,” cities that are the “hardest for locals to quit.” Where people want to “stick” around” and not move to other cities. They looked at how often people move, and how far. Are they packing up and moving to a whole new area, or staying local, and just hopping over to a new neighborhood? The 5 stickiest metro areas are: #5. Tulsa Oklahoma. #4. Louisville Kentucky, #3. Daytona Beach Florida, #2. Greenville South Carolina, and #1. Charlotte, North Carolina. The LEAST sticky cities? San Diego, Las Vegas, San Jose, Denver, and Austin. So, how “sticky” are OHIO cities? Columbus came in at #19, Cincinnati #23, and Cleveland #27 (out of 50). Click HERE to see the whole study.
