You ever notice the TV remote now has about 60 buttons… and somehow you only use three of them?

Volume. Channel. Power. Everything else looks like you’re launching a satellite.

There’s buttons labeled “Input,” “Menu,” “Guide,” “Settings,” and one mystery button you accidentally hit once that changed the language to something you couldn’t undo for two days.

And don’t even get me started on the streaming shortcut buttons.  I didn’t ask for five services on my remote.

I asked for one button that says: play the show I was already watching. Remotes used to control the TV.

Now they control my patience!
