Police Department’s New K9 Will Sniff Out Crimes And Help Victims
(From the Tiffin Police Department)
Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Tiffin Police Department family—-Madison!
Madison is the department’s newest electronic storage detection K-9 and will work alongside Detective Eric England. Her specialized training helps identify electronic storage devices and assist in investigations involving digital evidence and electronic crimes. When she is not sniffing out crime she will also aid in support of officers and victims in need.
While helping to keep our community safe, Madison enjoys training, meeting new people, swimming, and giving plenty of kisses along the way!
We are excited to have Madison join our team and look forward to sharing more of her journey, training, and adventures with the community. Stay tuned for a new way to follow along with Madison’s journey!
On Monday evening Madison made her first community appearance with her new best friend K-9 Leo at the Battle of the Badges, where the Tiffin Police Department challenged the Tiffin Fire Department to raise money for Tiffin Firefighters Local 322 Toy Project & Tiffin Police Department Shop With a Cop. Bragging rights officially belong to the Tiffin Police Department…………at least until the next charity showdown! Huge thanks to everyone that came out Monday night! Friendly competition, lots of laughs, and an awesome great cause!
