Riverside Pool Opening For The Season

Riverside Pool is scheduled to open for the season Saturday, May 23, but will the weather cooperate? Here are pertinent pool policies to keep in mind:
Pool hours:
Monday – Friday, 1-7 PM
Saturday and Sunday, 12-6 PM
Weather Rules:
- It must be at least 68 degrees for the pool to operate. The decision is made each day at 11 a.m. whether to open. If we decide to keep the pool closed for the day, we’ll post that info on social media.
- If storms occur prior to opening, the pool will open 30 minutes after all storm activity stops. Lightning and/or thunder mean no swimming for at least 30 minutes. If more thunder and/or lightning occurs after the initial whistle, the clock starts again at 30 minutes. With storms occurring after 4 pm, the pool will close for the evening. No rainchecks or refunds will be offered for weather-related activity. Pool operators have discretion to close the pool for the day if inclement weather persists.
Special Event:
The Flag City Invitational swim meet will be held on June 12 and 13. Come cheer on our Frogs team!
Admission Costs:
- $3 for those ages 17 and under, $5 for those ages 18+. Cash only.
