Two Adults And Two Juveniles Charged With Robbery

On June 2, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers with the Tiffin Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Melmore Street in reference to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred. The victim reported that four individuals displayed what appeared to be a handgun during the commission of the robbery.
Patrol officers responded immediately and began interviewing the victim and witnesses. Detectives also responded to assist with the investigation. Within approximately 50 minutes of the initial call, two adults and two juveniles had been identified and taken into custody. Investigators also recovered an airsoft style handgun believed to have been used during the incident.
Two adult suspects, Oliver Armstrong (18) and Trenton Cook (18), have each been charged with Complicity to Aggravated Robbery and are currently being held at the Seneca County Jail.
One juvenile has been charged with Complicity to Aggravated Robbery, while a second juvenile has been charged with Aggravated Robbery. Both juveniles are being held at the Seneca County Youth Center.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident
“This case was resolved quickly due to the immediate response of patrol officers, the rapid communication and information gathering by dispatchers, and the investigative efforts of Detective Sergeant Nowak and Detective Stafford,” said Lt. Jason Windsor.
