Sheriff’s Office Assists In Locating And Apprehending Fugitive

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Circleville Police Department on 06-25-2026 in locating and apprehending a fugitive wanted on rape-related warrants. The suspect was found hiding in a barn near the northwest corner of US 224 and S. State Route 19 in Seneca County.
Deputies from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office’s enforcement unit, working in coordination with Circleville Police and the Bloomville Police Department, utilizing investigative technology and available resources, safely apprehended the alleged violent offender without incident. Following the arrest, Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant signed by Judge Damon Alt of the Seneca County Court of Common Pleas on the person of the suspect to recover evidence relevant to the ongoing investigation.
The suspect remains in custody pending further investigation and extradition back to Circleville, Ohio.
