A Waymo Drove Misbehaving Teens Straight to the Police

Need another sign humans are one step closer to becoming absolute . . . computers are now disciplining our kids (and in this case, it’s hard to argue). A pair of 15-year-olds in California learned the hard way, that a robotaxi is always paying attention. Police say two teens were riding in a Waymo self-driving vehicle earlier this week, drinking alcohol and firing water beads from a toy gun at people outside the car. But the Waymo’s onboard cameras detected the behavior, pulled into a shopping center parking lot, notified the company’s support team, and soon after, Police were called to the scene. Officers surrounded the vehicle and detained both teens. I wonder it said “Don’t Make Me Turn Myself Around!”
