Stupid Criminal: Kitten Accomplice

Some bank robbers try to put their own spin on classic, like the ol’ “Slip the teller a note” thing, and this is definitely a new one . . . A man went into a pet store, stole a three-month-old rescue kitten named Magnolia when no one was looking , then took the kitten to a PNC Bank next door, and used Magnolia as an accessory in an attempt to rob the place! Apparently, he went in with the cat, walked up to a bank employee asking “Can you hold this cat?”, then wrote a note, handed it to a teller, that said essentially, “Give me all your cash.” Someone alerted the police, and the response was so quick, the pet store employees were just realizing that Magnolia was gone. The police arrested the guy, and Magnolia was returned to the pet store safe and sound. The good news is they rescue agency apparently has found a “law-abiding citizen” willing to adopt her.
