FFD On The Importance Of Having An Escape Plan

Fires today move much faster than they did in the past and that is why having an escape plan is important for your safety in the event of a fire. Here are some tips to creating a plan for your home:

1. Ensure everyone in your home knows the sound of your smoke detectors.
2. Know two ways out of every room in your home, especially the bedrooms.
3. Get out fast and once you’re out, stay out!
4. Ensure everyone knows your meeting place.
5. Practice your plan!
