A Sword-Swallower Hospitalized

File this under the, “Boy I Didn’t See THIS Coming” folder . . . a sword swallower known as “Murrugun the Mystic.” was hospitalized after sustaining serious injuries during a performance on Halloween night. Murrugun says, “Five swords scissored out in my abdominal cavity. It also appears that I pierced the lobe of my liver. Good news is: I’ve quit smoking and lost over 50 pounds” (although I’m guessing that’s not the recommended way to do it). I don’t mean to sound cold, but this reminded me of that line from The Breakfast Club, “You mess with the bull, you get the horns”.
