Here’s the closest thing to a real “Star Wars” lightsaber. At this year’s South by Southwest Festival, Disney Parks and Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro showed off the next best thing. It’s a lightsaber with a “blade” that actually expands and retracts, just like the ones in the movies. And it makes noises like them, too. At the moment, Disney has no plans to sell them. For now they’re just being used by some of the actors at their parks and attractions.
