25% of Americans Don’t Feel Like Adults Until They’re Nearly 30

There was a time in American history when you would start a career and family before even seventeen years old, but now a survey finds that one out of four Americans say they don’t feel like an adult until they hit their late 20s!

6% said they finally feel like adults in their early 30s.

Tasks that those polled considered “adulting” are shopping for groceries (65%), balancing their budget (62%), doing dishes (60%), laundry (57%), and vacuuming (56%). 

91% said they’re afraid to admit that “adulting” is fun.
