Google Maps Update To Give More Control over Location History
A new Google Maps update will give you more control over your location history.
The Google Maps Timeline feature will store your routes and stops directly onto your device and allow you to send encrypted data that you can delete.
The data will also auto-delete after three months unless you want to change your settings.
Google says these changes are great for those who are planning events like surprise parties: “Soon, you’ll be able to see all your recent activity on Maps related to the [birthday cake] bakery in one central place, and easily delete your searches, directions, visits, and shares with just a few taps.”
