No Glasses? there are other ways to view the eclipse!
If you cannot find certified glasses, there are other ways to view the eclipse, including with a shadow box you can make yourself.
Whatever you do, don’t look at the sun without proper protection.
Pinhole projector
Supplies: Box, white paper, aluminum foil and tape.
Item’s Needed:
Cardboard
box
White paper
Tape
Sunlight
Step 1: Tape piece of aluminum foil with pinhole over 1/2 inch hole cut in box.
Step 2: Tape piece of white paper to the opposite side of the box.
Hold the box over your head with the pinhole facing toward the paper, and a small image of the sun will appear.
To get a larger image, use a larger box.
Be sure the sun is behind you!
