Bird Flu Outbreak Causes Egg Prices To Rise

Egg prices in the U.S. have gone up because of a multi-state breakout of the bird flu.

A recent cost analysis found a dozen large grade A eggs now cost $2.99 on average. The price is 16 percent higher than January 2024.
