Things Dad Actually WANTS for Father’s Day . . . And One He Doesn’t

This Sunday is Father’s Day, so here’s some help if you haven’t bought a gift yet . . . get him that nice brooch he’s had his eye on (???). A new poll of 1,000 dads asked them what they actually want for Father’s Day this year. And the most requested item requires zero thought or consideration . . . GIFT CARDS. The most requested ones are for Amazon, Lowe’s, and Home Depot. 56% of dads ranked it as one of the top things they’d like to get. Here are a few more from the Top 10 . . .

  • Something food or drink related.
  • Electronics
  • Tickets to a concert or sporting event.
  • Sporting goods.
  • Something for around the house.

The one thing you might NOT want to do for him, is posting some sort of tribute on social media. Only 10% of dads said that’s “very important” to them. Half said “not important at all.”
