Ticketmaster: Customers’ Credit Card Info Affected by BreachWarning Time Travel GIF by RJFilmSchool

Ticketmaster says users’ contact and payment card info could have been stolen during a data breach anytime between April 2nd and May 18th.

“We are fully committed to protecting your information, and deeply regret that this incident occurred,” Ticketmaster shared in a statement.

It’s been reported that a hackers group called Shiny Hunters claimed responsibility for the breach and was trying to sell the info on the dark web for $500,000.

While Ticketmaster says its offering free credit monitoring through TransUnion for a year, customers are asked to call 1-833-505-2930 if any suspicious activity is noticed.
