Have astronauts found a new “home” on the moon?
Scientists Discover ‘Moon Cave’
Scientists say they have found a cave on the moon that could house future astronauts.
It’s located on the satellite’s Sea of Tranquility, around 250 miles from the first moon landing 55 years ago and was created by a lava tube.
Researchers believe the deep cavity, around 130 feet deep and tens of yards wide, could provide frozen water and protect astronauts from radiation during future missions, making it the perfect spot for a lunar base.
