Now you can get eggs, milk and bullets from the grocery store
You Can Now Buy Bullets From Vending Machines
There’s another thing for Americans to debate about and it’s bullet vending machines.
Based in Texas, American Rounds, is placing ammo vending machines in grocery shops in numerous states to provide 24/7 firearm ammunition availability.
Anyone 21 or older can swipe a card at a supermarket and buy bullets. The startup claims it will “redefine convenience in ammunition purchasing,” while detractors worry about gun violence.
An AI two-step verification is required to buy bullets from a vending machine by scanning your driver’s license to prove you’re 21 and then using a facial scan to confirm your identity.
American Rounds said in a statement, “Like ATMs, our machines are simple. Our 24/7 automated ammo dispensers let you buy ammunition without store hours or lineups.”
